The dark blue Plannersee at almost 1,800 metres above sea level is a popular place for swimming in summer. The municipality of Donnersbach is known for its eponymous gorge. The Donnersbachklamm nestles picturesquely in the northern slopes of the Rottenmanner and Wölzer Tauern in the Ennstal. A walk through the wild gorge is an experience that you will never forget.

Lake Putterersee
Only 5 minutes away by car, a natural jewel awaits: Lake Putterersee. It is the warmest alpine moor lake in Styria. The large sunbathing lawn invites you to soak up the sun, while the view sweeps over the idyllic landscape.

Lake Grundlsee
The Grundlsee with an area of five square kilometers is the largest lake in Styria and is therefore also called the “Styrian Sea”.
Along the lake shore there are numerous bathing places where you can enjoy swimming in crystal clear water.
