FALL GOLF TRIP THROUGH AUSTRIA
Austria is a dream destination for golf fans and anyone who wants to become one. Over 150 golf courses invite you to get to know and discover the different regions and landscapes, from alpine atmosphere to southern flair. Each golf course has its own character and makes every game an unforgettable experience.

On the road with the golf pros
In mid-September, we welcomed OIa Jens Sundqvist from Out of Bounds, Sonja Mittermayr from ACE Golf Travel and David John Whyte from Linksland Luxury Golf Holidays magazine, among others, and convinced them of the advantages of playing golf in Austria.
Among others, golf courses in Vienna, Lower Austria, Styria, Upper Austria and Salzburg were visited and tested.
These included such outstanding golf courses as GC Fontana, GC Colony Gutenhof, GC Schladming-Dachstein, GC Mondsee, GC Altentann, GC Adamstal and, of course, our hotel’s own Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn in Styria.
Best comfort in the IMLAUER Hotels
During the five-day trip, we were also able to convince the participants of the high quality and comfort of our IMLAUER Hotels & Restaurants. The first night was spent in Vienna at the IMLAUER Hotel Wien. The overnight stay at our 5-star golf resort IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn in Styria was particularly appealing. The hotel’s own 18-hole golf course is located right next to the hotel and has just undergone a furious redesign.
We then continued on to Salzburg, where we were able to impress our guests not only with an overnight stay at the 4-star superior hotel IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg, but also with dinner at the IMLAUER Sky Restaurant with a wonderful view over the rooftops of Salzburg.
