AWARD FOR THE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB SCHLOSS PICHLARN
It was with great pride that we recently received the “Rising Star of the Year” award for our Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn. Golf in Austria has honored this year’s golf clubs and golf hotels of the year. Over 1200 votes were cast and evaluated by golf travelers and guests of the member hotels.
The winners in the various categories were announced at this year’s Annual General Meeting. A great event and a great result for us!
A golf course on a new level
The Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn has a long tradition and only a few years ago we celebrated our 50th anniversary. After the expansion of the golf course from 9 to 18 holes in the 1980s, extensive investments have now been made again for the first time for a redesign of the golf course for the first time.
Around 2 million euros were invested to create the new golf course together with the internationally renowned golf architecture firm Olazabal Design to raise the Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn to a new level.
As part of the large-scale redesign, tees and fairways were extended and rebuilt to improve the playability and safety of the course. In addition, a new, sustainable irrigation system was installed in accordance with international standards.
From spring 2025, a modern practice area with a new driving range, modern trackman technology and a short game area will complete the renovation.

We are therefore delighted that we have now been chosen by Golf in Austria the “Newcomer of the Year” award. The combination of tradition and modernity is particularly appreciated:
