The castle park at IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn shines in festive splendor during Advent. Atmospheric lights transform the castle into a glittering winter wonderland and create a magical atmosphere that transports you into the contemplative time of year.
It has already become a tradition to brighten up the darkest time of the year with lots of lights and sparkling decorations. The beautiful landscape invites you to go for walks, excursions and sporting activities during the day. The glittering castle park will put you in a festive mood on a walk at dusk. In front of our winter garden with a view of the majestic Grimming, you can enjoy the evening atmosphere with homemade punch or mulled wine.

Brilliantly staged
Our castle park is in itself a special kind of power place. The historic backdrop of the castle, the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and forests and a 600-year-old lime tree in the center of the park make our castle a feel-good place and an oasis of relaxation and inspiration.
In order to make this special place of power tangible for our guests even in the dark season, the company MK Illumination designed and installed a lighting concept for the park. In 2023, the castle park shone with magical lights for the first time.
MK Illumination is a Tyrolean company that has been active in lighting design for over 20 years and realizes international projects. With branches and factories in over 40 countries around the world, MK Illumination creates lighting designs that aim to “create moments of happiness”.
Sustainable concepts
In everything we do, sustainability and environmental protection are just as important to us as creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. That’s why we have brought MK Illumination on board, a company that shares these values and focuses on sustainable production, long-lasting products and reduced energy consumption.
At the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn, we also rely on renewable energy. With our 420 kWp photovoltaic system, up to a quarter of the resort’s electricity can be produced from sustainable solar energy over the course of the year.
