The Leading Spa & Golf Resort IMLAUER Schloss Pichlarn has been a member of Leading Golf Courses Austria since November 4, 2026. This places us among a select group of renowned golf courses that are known for meeting the highest quality standards and offering an exceptional golfing experience.

We did it!

Following an extensive redesign of our golf course, significant investments, and an intensive application process, we have met the requirements: By resolution of the general meeting on November 4, the IMLAUER Schloss Pichlarn Golf Resort was admitted to the exclusive circle of LEADING GOLF COURSES Austria and is now authorized to bear this special designation.

What sets a Leading Golf Course apart?

“Leading Golf Course” means being among the best and meeting the highest quality standards. It is far more than just an award for a beautiful golf course. It is an independent seal of quality that stands for an all-around exceptional golfing experience.

Inclusion in the program is granted through an intensive application process. During this process, the golf course is inspected multiple times by independent, anonymous testers based on more than 150 defined quality criteria. The quality and maintenance of the fairways and greens, the tees, bunkers, and practice facilities are evaluated, as are the infrastructure, service, guest care, and the overall environment.

Top Quality and Enjoyment on the Course

However, the quality of Leading Golf Courses is not determined solely during the application process for this award. It must also be regularly demonstrated and continuously improved in the future. Leading Golf is thus not only a recognition of what has been achieved so far, but also a commitment to the future.

For us, this inclusion marks a significant milestone. It confirms that the ongoing work, investments, and dedication to our golf course are worthwhile—for us and for our guests.
