THE PLACE TO ENJOY
NATURE.POWER.PLACES. IN THE STYRIAN ENNS VALLEY
Marvel, recharge your batteries, come to rest – the nature.power.places. of the Grimmingland health region invite you to discover nature with new eyes. In the four municipalities of Irdning-Donnersbachtal, Aigen im Ennstal, Wörschach and Stainach-Pürgg, the most beautiful natural places in the region have been selected to inspire and touch visitors.
We have always known special places in nature that have become unique places of power with their energy and beauty. The Grimmingland health region is now bringing these places of power to life in a new way.
The nature.power.places. invite you to bring body, mind and soul into harmony. Accompanying breathing and relaxation exercises, tailored to the respective places, create invigorating connections to special landscape points and cultural sites. In this way, the positive qualities of nature can be experienced holistically and provide new energy for everyday life.
Recharge your batteries
The Natur.Kraft.Plätze. can be visited all year round and not only bring you into contact with the most beautiful scenic spots in the Styrian Enns Valley, but are also perfect for finding peace and quiet and recharging empty energy stores.
We have put together our three favorite nature.power.places for you:
Kulm summit
Experience magnificent views of the Styrian Enns Valley on a hike up the great Kulm. The path up the 918-metre-high Inselberg is easy to master and ideal for a mindful hike.
The corresponding exercise is called “I the mountain top” and leads to a mental strengthening that is both relaxing and stimulating and promotes inspiration.

Heidenhügel
The Heidenhügel in Irdning-Donnersbachtal has an ancient cultural history and has probably always been a place for important festivals throughout the year. At the same time, the special silence of the forest invites you to listen to the quiet sounds of nature.
With the “Heidenhügel earth-sky gesture” exercise, you absorb the energy of this place completely, strengthen and stretch your spine and increase your perception as part of the greater whole.
St. John’s Chapel
A visit to the St. John’s Chapel near Pürgg is both a scenic and culturally unique experience. The church, which dates back to the 12th century, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and will inspire you with its beautiful murals as well as the magnificent views of the Grimming and the Styrian Enns Valley.
Treat yourself to a “light shower for the diaphragm” at this centuries-old place of power and release tension in your chest and treat yourself to a large portion of energy straight from nature!
Fit & healthy through the summer
This year’s summer program of the Grimmingland health region invites locals and guests to get to know nature.power.places. through guided hikes, health-promoting activity sessions or informative events.
Pilates at Lake Putterersee, a guided mindfulness hike on the Kulm, a herbal hike or a full-body workout – the offer is varied and combines nature experiences with healthy exercise and mindful awareness.
